A Biography of Debi L. Ringler

 

Welcome

I idolized my father and remained forever daddy's girl; we just had a magical connection. When I was in my twenties, I was a military wife , a first marriage, and moved to Ipswich, England. There, I bought my first Canon AE1 SLR. I soon learned after, my father beat me to the punch as he purchased his own AE1. I loved my camera although I really didn't master the art of photography. The same was true with my father as his life came prematurely to an end.

I was back in the US as a single mom raising my three children. My youngest son was in his teens and dating. His girlfriend said to me "my dad is a photographer too". My ears perked up; I knew he was single again as well. Long story short, we became husband and wife and the children, his and mine, sisters and brothers.

Michael and I have honed our technique and art and we enjoy the times together in beautiful places in our country. Oh yes, we now are enjoying our seven grandchildren!
