Ringler
Studios, using a unique compilation of water based acrylic polymers developed
the MiGallery Process to create a truly definitive look in our
photography. The traditional glass-framed photograph has some inherent
disadvantages; glass is an easily breakable product and emits glare and
reflections.
Our framing process eliminates these problems. Since no glass is used,
the Migallery Process framing is more readily the choice for
institutional use (medical facilities, schools, and business). The bonding
of our acrylics creates a true-to-life view of the scene as it was when
photographed in the field.

This Picture was conventionally framed with glass. You can see the faint
lines of the broken glass horizontally across the model's hairline and
one slanting down toward the model's chin. If this print was displayed
in an area where children were present and the broken glass fell out of
the frame, a child could be seriously injured; come to think about it,
anyone could be injured!

The
print on the right demonstrates the inherent glare on glass framing. Even
if glare-resistant glass is used, you will see some glare.

The same print with MiGallery Process Acrylics applied instead
of the glass. Notice, no glare.
A close look at this side view of a MiGallery Process mount shows
the print mounted on an art-board and the acrylics applied; note - no
glass, no glare. Although this process is not archival, again the display
quality and the safety is the choice for institutional buildings (business,
hospitals and doctor office and medical complexes, schools, and more).
It also is the choice of many homes where the owners just like the look.
